The Diary of a Kathryn’s Bride Begins…

Val V and Jason kiss
Working in a bridal shop can be a joyous occasion every day! Today, we celebrate and share the journey of one of our very own delightful brides, Valerie.

We first met Valerie back in July of 2012 shortly after her engagement to Jason. She came to Kathryn’s Bridal on a quiet weekday afternoon for her initial appointment, along with her identical twin sister.

“I had no idea what to expect during that scheduled hour,” shares Valerie, “I just remember the serene atmosphere definitely contributed to my very own magical experience!”

The appointment began by discussing her preferences on style, fit, and budget with her consultant. “My consultant was an amazing listener who immediately understood the vision I had in mind,” adds Valerie. “It didn’t take long for her to help me find my dress!”
What was most extraordinary to Valerie is that she imagined the journey to find a wedding gown would be filled with the drama you see on television. “I actually only tried on 5 total dresses that afternoon,” she said, “I knew immediately when I found the gown I would be married in; there was no need to continue shopping!”

It was a cherished moment with her sister, and genuine tears of joy were shed. “Kathryn herself came over to explain the details of my dress including the designer, cut and bustle options,” adds Valerie, “I was impressed and felt very special!”

She cannot wait to tell you more of her story next week….
