Bride & Groom: Karoline & Nathan
Wedding Date: September 29, 2012
To serenade the bride and her attendants as they dressed for the big day, a Mariachi band played and also entertained guests.
In Polish tradition, the bride and groom see each other before the ceremony because they receive a special blessing from their parents/god parents.
The ceremony took place at Saint Hyacinth Basilica, in Chicago. The church was decorated so beautifully that the bride couldn’t help shedding tears of joy.
After their nuptials the newlyweds took a trip to the place they first met and celebrated with a toast. Photographs were also taken outside with the Chicago River and skyline capturing the essence of the perfect afternoon.
The reception was held at Café La Cave, in Des Plaines, with glowing candles highlighting the blue color palette.
